When validity starts
Automatically when connected to a supported network with data roaming. Within coverage, the plan may start during installation.
No automatic renewal
The bundle ends when its validity or data allowance runs out. Any unused data expires at the end of the validity period.
Long-duration bundle conditions
Long-duration bundles limit streaming services to 2 Mbps. Other data is not artificially throttled. These are travel bundles: use for 60 or more consecutive days in one country is not permitted.
Installation and use
  • Installation requires a stable internet connection, preferably Wi-Fi. Install the eSIM on the device you plan to use.
  • On iPhone, turn off Wi-Fi Assist before installation: it can use mobile data and start the bundle early.
  • Select the eSIM for mobile data and enable data roaming for it. Turn off automatic data switching to your primary SIM.

eSIM plan questions

Can I install my eSIM before travelling?

Yes. Install your eSIM over Wi-Fi shortly before your trip while outside the bundle’s coverage area. Buying it alone does not start its usage period. If you are already within coverage, the bundle may start during installation. On arrival, select the eSIM for mobile data and enable its data roaming.

Step-by-step eSIM installation
Is the data allowance per day or for the whole plan?

It is the total allowance for the selected plan. For example, 5 GB for 30 days means 5 GB in total, not each day. Use it at your own pace. If you run out sooner, you need another bundle to continue. Any unused data expires when the validity period ends.

How to check your remaining data
Can I share data with a laptop or another phone?

Yes, tethering is allowed. Select the eSIM for mobile data and turn on Personal Hotspot on iPhone or Wi-Fi hotspot on Android, if your phone supports it. Connected devices use the same data allowance as your phone.

Can I add more data without installing a new eSIM?

Yes. Select “Top up eSIM” above the plans, enter the ICCID of an eSIM bought from our website, and choose a bundle. Compatibility is checked before payment. Keep the installed profile: topping up does not require deleting your eSIM or scanning a new QR code.

Can I keep my home SIM and phone number?

Yes, if your phone supports two active SIMs. Use the eSIM for mobile data and your home SIM for your existing number. You do not need to change your WhatsApp number. Regular calls and SMS on your home number are charged under your home carrier’s terms, separately from the eSIM data bundle.

Can I pause my plan’s validity period?

No. Once a bundle starts, its validity runs continuously. Switching to Wi-Fi, using airplane mode or turning off the eSIM does not pause the countdown. A top-up adds a separate bundle and does not extend one that has already started. Check the expiry date and remaining data in your account.

An eSIM for travelling around Thailand

A Thailand itinerary might combine a few days in Bangkok, a stay in Phuket or Koh Samui and a visit to Chiang Mai. When choosing mobile data, consider your travel days as well as your hotel stays: you may need tickets, your next accommodation address and a way to contact your host while travelling.

Choose a plan and estimate usage

Each card shows the bundle’s data allowance and validity. Choose these around your itinerary and the apps you use. Check your phone’s usage statistics for a starting point; use Wi-Fi for large downloads and photo backups. If you share data with a travel companion or laptop, include those devices in your estimate.

Install and connect

Check your exact phone model before paying. Once the order is ready, the QR code and link are available on your eSIM page, and the order details are sent to your email. Use a stable internet connection for installation and follow the instructions for your device.

On arrival, select the eSIM for mobile data and enable its data roaming. The APN is normally configured automatically. If the profile is installed but cannot connect, check the instructions for your eSIM or contact support rather than entering an arbitrary APN.

Transfers and island trips

Before a ferry or boat excursion, save your tickets, meeting point and organiser’s contact details offline. A mobile plan does not replace being able to open these details without a signal. Available operators are listed above the plans; the actual connection depends on coverage where you use it.
